SERVE

Another wonderful way we worship here is through service. Whether it's volunteering on Sundays, participating in our I Love Glen Burnie projects, or supporting and praying for our missionaries, the goal is to use our God-given talents and be part of a community dedicated to sharing God's love abundantly.

BKind

Time: EVERY Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to Noon
Location: ALC Parking Lot

BKind is one of our Ministry Partners and is a non-profit organization that serves the homeless and less fortunate population in Maryland. BKind partners with local county resources as well as faith-based and secular organizations to provide food, hygiene products, blankets, coats, and other necessities to help the individuals that are served each week. This is a year-round ministry.

Outreach Ministry

Leader: Pastor Paul

There are many opportunities to help both on our ALC campus and in the community. Sever Days are scheduled on Saturdays, but calls for help often come from the church and our Ministry Partners at different times. If you have a heart for service, this is the group for you!

Administration: Office Volunteers

Leader: Vicky Grady
Time: Available hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; Monday to Thursdays

Individuals volunteer in the Church Office or work from home to help coordinate special activities and projects, and assist the Pastoral Team as needed. This is a year-round ministry.

Guest Services

Leader: Vikki Steeger

There are many volunteer opportunities. Memembers of this team are valuable assets to our Sunday Front Line, serving as greeters behind the Welcome Desk, at the Coffee Bar and with any project where there is a need. This is a year-round ministry.

Maintenance of Church Facility and Property

Leader: Steve Robinson

With a property as large at this, there are always projects (inside ad outside) that require MUCH NEEDED attention! Every season presents unique skilled and unskilled opprotunties for you to be a ‘hands-on’ blessing to ALC! This is a year-round ministry.

Production

Leader: Dana Leach

The technical team work behind the scneen through every service and special program. Training is provided for all roles in the ‘Crow’s Nest.’ This is a year-round ministry.

Student Ministries

Volunteer positions are available in KidMin, Youth Ministry and Security. All volunteers must be background-checked and will work on a rotational schedule.
